The most comprehensive and reliable digital map and app for racers of the annual Grand Traverse Backcountry Ski Race. Put on by Crested Butte Nordic and taking place in late March/early April each year, Grand Traverse racers travel 40 miles and climb over 6,800 vertical feet across the Elk Mountain Range beginning in Crested Butte and ending at Aspen Mountain. Designed to accompany the paper map in your pack, this digital guide includes the conditional winter race route and reverse route, checkpoints, landmarks, private property boundaries, nearby ski huts, creek crossings, and avalanche terrain information.
